Notes from the Pew #1

fEB 2ND; We started in Isaiah 59:19, I can't tell you the title probably cause when i was writing the scripture reference down, one side of my brain wasn't retaining the title while the other side of my brain wrote. i'm trying to get left brain right brain functioning at the same time, or maybe its not supposed to function at the same time.
Isaiah 59:19-22 (New International Version)
19 From the west, men will fear the name of the LORD,and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory. For he will come like a pent-up floodthat the breath of the LORD drives along. [a]
20 "The Redeemer will come to Zion,to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,"declares the LORD.
21 "As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever," says the LORD.
The Bishop has been on this series for the last ummm, 3 Sundays. Its about the Power of God in your words. So in my notes, I have....there is nothing He cannot do.
Mark 4 indentifies 5 afflictions of the law...we didn't go to Mark 4, the Bishop quickly said them and then went on to say in Deut their are three identified, poverty, sickness and death.
Ok and this is all within the first 20 minutes of the sermon....so i'm moving along, following getting all excited because i'm really following along.... the Bishop is saying....The Holy Ghost is poised and ready to take out the enemy that wants to take me out.
if i'm going to have deliverence fr the LORD, you must live clean. He will forgive and cleanse me fr all unrighteousness.
speaking the word out of my mouth.
the Bishop is referencing Romans 11:26, we are turning to it...then we turn to Joshua 1:8
at this point I'm between listening and meditating in real time on what the Bishop is saying and writing, so I'm only able to write the scripture reference to go home later, cause i don't want to break my meditation time with the LORD now, its too sweet. I think at these points listening to the sermon, I must be caught up in some kind of "real time" rapture cause I'm like, life has got to stay exactly like this and when i get up outta this seat and walk out those doors, its gotta stay exactly like this so i can remain protected, loved, forgiven, with HIM when i hit the world streets.
But alas, i know its not like that, it supposed to be; that's why its important to get the Word in me, keep it in me, so I can not avoid the arrows of the enemy, but manuever them. Ya know cause John 16:33 says ..."I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." < ok that was a divergent point.
Back to the Notes of the day...So i am somewhere in the sermon listening and i've written..This Book of the Law shall not depart out of my mouth, I will meditate on it day and night and I will be prosperous and successful. Oh that's right, Bishop was saying when you get the Word on the inside of you, its Spiritual force, see we are to operate in the Spiritual which makes us strong protected loved, so we can easily or easier operate in the natural. Bishop says the Spirit world is controlled by God, the natural world is controlled by men speaking Gods word.
I've written down Mark 11:12 and Hebrews 10:23, Hebrews 10:38, 5:7 and Luke 17:5; James 3:2 and matthew 12:33
I paraphrased 1 Corinthians 4:13 to you believe, you speak, you speak what you believe in
What is actually says NIV from Biblegateway: "I believed; therefore I have spoken."[b]With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak,
I've also written down 1John 5:4 and James 4:7I wrote down Matthew 4: and didn't get the rest of it, but its the part where Jesus is being tempted by satan; satan is trying to get Jesus to "say" everything opposite of God right....Jesus is having none of that...He turns around blasts him with THE WORD of God and satan has nothing to do but leave Him....Matthew 4:11Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
And I wrote down Hebrews 3:1
By this time, I'm repenting and asking God to forgive me for all the idle words I've said, all the doubt. And God hears me, God gives me strength to walk outta those doors in my "real time" rapture, so I can be better for Him.
AMEN and Amen
